The EDAN UX10 is a 10.1-inch compact bedside patient monitor designed for multi-parameter vital-signs monitoring in general wards, emergency departments, outpatient areas, step-down units, and intra-hospital transport. It shares the CX/UX monitoring platform cleared under FDA 510(k) K250179, applying EDAN’s core algorithms—iSEAP™ ECG, iMAT™ SpO₂, and iCUFS™ NIBP—to everyday clinical monitoring in a lightweight, fanless enclosure.

Standard parameters on the UX10 include 3/5-lead ECG, RESP, EDAN SpO₂, EDAN NIBP, PR, and TEMP, running on the same algorithm set used across EDAN’s CX and UX monitor lines. The 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen (1024 × 600) supports gesture operation for direct on-screen interaction, and the fanless architecture eliminates operating noise while reducing dust accumulation inside the chassis. The enclosure surface is compatible with up to 31 common medical disinfectants, supporting routine wipe-down between patients.

For expansion, the UX10 accepts optional 6/12-lead ECG, IBP, sidestream CO₂, and cardiac output (C.O.)—parameters that move the device beyond basic vital-signs monitoring into procedural and higher-acuity support. Data management covers 48 hours of full-disclosure waveforms, 240 hours of trend data, 1,600 NIBP records, and 1,800 alarm events, with Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), LAN, USB, HDMI, nurse call, analog output, and defibrillator synchronization for connectivity.

Battery options include 2,550 mAh (approximately 4 hours) and 5,100 mAh (approximately 8 hours) , and the monitor weighs approximately 3.6 kg with dimensions of 250 × 170 × 150 mm. The UX10 is built for departments that need a compact, shared-platform monitor with the same algorithms and accessory ecosystem as EDAN’s CX series, scaled to a single-hand portable enclosure for ward and transport use.

Key Features & Benefits

10.1-Inch IPS Touchscreen with Gesture Operation

The 10.1-inch IPS color touchscreen (1024 × 600) provides clear waveform visualization across a wide viewing angle, with an intuitive menu structure and gesture operation for parameter selection and navigation. The 100° incline angle keeps the screen readable whether the monitor sits on a tabletop, bed rail, or rolling stand. Large font, trend, OxyCRG, and full ECG display modes let the clinical team prioritize numerics, waveforms, or historical data depending on the task.

Fanless Design with Broad Disinfectant Compatibility

The no-fan architecture eliminates operating noise and prevents dust from accumulating on internal fan blades and grilles, supporting lower power consumption and reduced dust-related maintenance needs in wards, emergency areas, and transport. The enclosure is designed to withstand up to 31 common medical disinfectants, supporting routine wipe-down protocols between patients.

iSEAP™ ECG: 33 Arrhythmia Types with SEMIP™ Analysis

The iSEAP™ ECG algorithm is designed for auto-detection of up to 33 arrhythmia types, alongside SEMIP™ ST/QT evaluation with database validation, per EDAN’s platform documentation. Standard 3/5-lead ECG is expandable to 6/12-lead for broader cardiac evaluation. Arrhythmia detection and ST segment analysis are indicated for adult patients under the cleared indications for use.

iMAT™ SpO₂: Motion and Low-Perfusion Performance

EDAN’s iMAT™ SpO₂ algorithm is engineered for motion resistance and low-perfusion performance, with a Perfusion Index (PI) reference reading (0.05–20%, 0.01% resolution) that reflects perfusion changes at the sensor site. The UX10 supports simultaneous SpO₂ and NIBP measurement on the same limb, which can simplify setup when access sites are limited.

iCUFS™ and iFAST™ NIBP Algorithms

The UX10 supports both iCUFS™ and iFAST™ NIBP algorithms under the cleared indications. iCUFS™ is intended for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, with smart adaptive inflation and deflation. iFAST™ is intended for adult and pediatric patients (≥3 years of age) and is designed to complete measurement in approximately 15 seconds where configured. Both algorithms are also indicated for use with pregnant women, including pre-eclamptic patients; NIBP MAP is not applicable to pregnant women.

Optional IBP, CO₂, and Cardiac Output

The UX10 supports optional IBP, sidestream CO₂, and cardiac output (C.O.) , allowing the same device to serve procedural and higher-acuity patients when hemodynamic or respiratory monitoring is required. C.O. is indicated for adult patients only, and the monitor is not intended for MRI environments.

Data Storage, Connectivity, and Transport Battery

The UX10 stores 48 hours of full-disclosure waveforms (1-second sampling), 240 hours of trend data, 1,600 NIBP records, and 1,800 alarm events. Connectivity includes 2× USB, RJ-45 Ethernet, HDMI, nurse call input, analog output, defibrillator synchronization, and Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) . Battery options of 2,550 mAh (~4 hours) and 5,100 mAh (~8 hours) support transport monitoring away from mains power. The monitor weighs approximately 3.6 kg and measures 250 × 170 × 150 mm, making it suitable for single-hand transport between rooms and departments.
