The GHM VPM001 US operates on a quantitative fluorescence immunochromatography principle. Fluorescence labeling antigen or antibody is absorbed on the conjugate pad. When the sample is added to the hole of the sample pad, it moves forward through capillary force, dissolving the fluorescence labeling antigen or antibody on the conjugate pad and continuing to move to the detection line where antigen or antibody is enveloped. If the relevant antigen or antibody is present in the sample, immune complexes are formed and fluorescence markers gather on the detection line. The analyzer processes the fluorescence signal to display quantitative results.
