The Zoncare N7 is a cart-based full digital color Doppler ultrasound system engineered for comprehensive general imaging across clinical specialties—including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal, urologic, and interventional applications. It is built around Zoncare’s core imaging technologies and a complete measurement and software analysis suite, combining a 19-inch articulating medical LCD monitor with a 10.4-inch touchscreen and 4 active transducer connectors for efficient shared-service workflows.

The N7 platform integrates Pulse Inverse Harmonic Imaging (PIHI) to reduce fundamental-wave distortion and improve signal-to-noise ratio, Speckle Reduction Imaging (SRI) to enhance tissue boundary definition and echo clarity, and Spatial Compound Imaging (SCI) to improve contrast resolution and smooth homogeneous tissue presentation. These processing technologies are intended to support consistent image quality across patient body habitus and examination types, within the physical limits of the installed probe set.

The system supports trapezoidal extended imaging for wider near-field coverage, Extended Pulse Imaging (EPI) for expanded flow sensitivity, and optional 3D/4D imaging for volumetric applications. Color Deflection Technology, Intelligent Navigation Technology, and Dual/Triple Synchronous modes are included to support efficient workflow and multi-parameter display. DICOM 3.0 connectivity and a broad data port set (Video, S-Video, USB 2.0, DVI, RS-232, RJ45) support integration with PACS and hospital information systems where configured.

Regulatory status: The N7 is classified as a Class IIa medical device in the Slovakian State Institute for Drug Control (ŠÚKL) database under code 3357A (“Systém ultrazvukový dopplerovský diagnostický plne digitálny farebný ZONCARE-N7”), with Wuhan Zoncare Bio-medical Electronics Co., Ltd. listed as the manufacturer and an EU authorized representative based in Dublin, Ireland. Zoncare also states ISO 13485 certification for its quality management system, and distributor documentation references CE marking. No FDA 510(k) clearance specific to the N7 model name was identified in the public FDA database during preparation of this page; confirm local registration and intended use before purchase. No independent peer-reviewed clinical validation study specific to the N7 was identified in the public literature during preparation of this page. Availability, labeling, and cleared claims vary by market.

Key Features & Benefits

19-Inch Articulating Monitor with 10.4-Inch Touchscreen

The 19-inch high-resolution medical LCD monitor supports up/down and left/right free rotation, allowing flexible positioning for standing or seated scanning. The 10.4-inch touchscreen provides direct control of imaging parameters and menus, supporting efficient workflow during multi-specialty examinations. The display configuration is intended to keep imaging, measurement, and system controls accessible without leaving the patient’s side.

Pulse Inverse Harmonic Imaging (PIHI) for Signal-to-Noise Improvement

PIHI reduces the distortion generated by the fundamental wave and improves the signal-to-noise ratio, supporting clearer tissue contrast in harmonic imaging modes. This is intended to help visualize anatomical boundaries and tissue interfaces across abdominal, obstetric, and small-parts applications.

Speckle Reduction Imaging (SRI) and Spatial Compound Imaging (SCI)

SRI reduces unwanted speckle artifact and enhances tissue boundary and echo presentation, supporting consistent image review across different tissue types. SCI combines multiple angled views to improve contrast resolution, reduce speckle noise, and smooth the appearance of homogeneous tissue—supporting lesion and structure visualization within the clinician’s standard imaging protocol.

4 Active Transducer Connectors with Broad Probe Portfolio

The system provides 4 active transducer connectors, allowing multiple probes to remain connected and switchable during mixed-specialty sessions. The N7 probe portfolio includes the TC50 convex array, TL40 linear array, TC10 endocavity array, TP16 phased array, and TW40 volumetric probe—supporting abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, cardiac, vascular, small-parts, musculoskeletal, and 3D/4D applications. Needle guide brackets and breast elastography capabilities are referenced in the platform’s application set.

Trapezoidal Extended Imaging, EPI, and Optional 3D/4D

Trapezoidal extended imaging provides a wider near-field field of view than a standard linear or convex footprint, supporting superficial and musculoskeletal scanning. Extended Pulse Imaging (EPI) expands flow sensitivity for low-velocity or small-vessel detection. Optional 3D/4D imaging supports volumetric rendering and multiplanar review for obstetric and gynecologic applications where configured.

DICOM 3.0 and Comprehensive Connectivity

The N7 supports DICOM 3.0 for PACS and hospital information system integration, alongside Video, S-Video, USB 2.0, DVI, RS-232, and RJ45 ports. An optional built-in lithium battery is referenced in distributor documentation, supporting operation during transport or power interruption where the battery option is installed.

Broad Clinical Application Coverage

The N7 is positioned for gynecology, obstetrics, abdomen, cardiac, urology, vascular, small organ, orthopedic, interventional, emergency, musculoskeletal, nerve block, and thoracic cavity applications. The cardiac package includes M-mode, color mode, C and DPDI modes, and TDI (tissue Doppler imaging). Breast elastography and fetal face, head, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine imaging are referenced in the platform’s application examples.
